Hey Jason, Thanks for collecting all those posts. I think team Fatty needs a bit more "internet" infrastructure next year. Something to think about and work on this year.

I didn't *not* tell you. It just wasn't a day where I could join in our usual ride whine fest. Too many people in my mind facing serious health issues. I'll try and be more aware next time. Sorry.

I dunno why such a difference in the vertical ft. Their map says 2700 or so. Who knows... one person;s blog reported the same ride as 5000+ ft. (I can't imagine).

"I’m glad we did this ride “together”. Next year, let’s train harder and smarter and have many fewer reasons for being there."

Maybe next year we'll both have time to train. And I look forward to Wendy joining us to celebrate the end of her treatments.

Daniel. Next time you must fess up or I'll beat you to death with a rusty chain.

We now have goals for next year- something to look forward too, yay!

I agree, I carried too much stuff. In any other event, I like to be self-sufficient, but in all honesty, this event was so extraordinarily well staffed, I could've lost the weight of the stuff in my annoyingly big (yet surprisingly lighter than the smaller black) seat bag.
So, yes, less stuff next time and oh yeah, smaller engine. I could go with smaller water bottles too since it was so very close between stops.

And I have way more vertical feet than you- about 4100. Why come?
